A Bit About Me

I earned my master’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley and have been studying and practicing therapy for over 17 years. Along with my private practice therapy, I have held clinical direct practice and managerial positions in community mental health and public health departments at both non-profit and government agencies.

I have extensive training in a variety of therapeutic modalities including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Emotion Focus Therapy (EFT), parts work, somatic therapy, and mindfulness traditions.

I love my work and draw deep satisfaction working with a variety of clients from diverse backgrounds with a vast array of needs and goals. I specialize working with clients who seek to better their personal wellbeing and professional performance and relationships, and who want support with anxiety, depression, and/or the impacts of trauma (past or present) on their daily life.

I am originally from Vermont and have lived in California for the past 24 years.  I love and have so much gratitude for my work and the clients I support.  I’m also committed to “walking-the-talk” and I continually strive for a good work life balance that includes self-nourishing activities such as being in the sunshine and appreciating nature, daily exercise and meditation practice, connective time with my partner, family and friends, daily cold-plunges, skiing, and playing tennis.

I am excited by the potential of joining and supporting your journey of self-discovery, empowerment, and growth!
