Anxiety Therapy

“Empowering You to Overcome Fear and Embrace Peace”

Anxiety challenges are often more than just feelings of occasional worry or nervousness. It can impact our lives in many ways and take many forms. On the one hand, it can be a persistent and overwhelming feeling difficult to manage. At other times, it can be a conductor behind the scenes, without us even realizing it, quietly and subtly directing our behavior and emotions in ways that negatively impact our performance, relationships and resilience to life stressors. Clinically, it can manifest in various forms, ranging from generalized anxiety to panic disorder, phobias, and social anxiety. Typically, the strategies of managing anxiety often stem from learned behaviors shaped by upbringing, family systems, biology, traumatic experience, and repeated learned coping behaviors over an extended period. Regardless of the type or origin of your anxiety, positive change and healing are possible! My mission is to help support that inate desire and capacity for healing through supporting clients with increasing awareness of root causes of the anxiety, exploring how anxiety resides and moves through the body affecting habitual behaviors, thoughts and emotions, and helping build new coping pathways, leading to greater empowerment and freedom in daily life.

Anxiety symptoms may include:

  • Excessive worry or fear

  • Restlessness or irritability

  • Difficulty concentrating

  • Muscle tension

  • Sleep disturbances (insomnia or excessive sleep)

  • Panic attacks

  • Avoidance behaviors related to fears/phobias

  • Social withdrawal or isolation

It can be helpful to recognize that excessive anxiety is not simply a matter of being overly sensitive or lacking resilience—it's a genuine problem that has a solution and deserves thoughtful understanding, empathy, and effective treatment support!
